Intro math and spatial reasoning through Alphabet for 3-5 year olds.
LEGO® Beginning Builder class offers an introduction to STEM concepts in math, reading, and social emotional skills needed in school through a hands-on builder experience. Kids will build the alphabet and models representing each letter. Specially designed to teach small motor skills, spatial reasoning, counting, introduction to addition and subtraction, as well as phonics, letter recognition, and sounds. Kids will explore follow along instruction, work in teams, and practice sharing and turn taking.
Structural Engineering
Brick building creating wonders from around the world for 5–8 year olds.
LEGO® Jr Builder Structural Engineering class from LEAP4Kidz™ offers an integrated STEM curriculum including science, technology, engineering, math, as well as history, language arts, and team decision making to children using LEGO® bricks. This is a hands-on structural engineering class where students will build and design with Lego bricks creating things from the world around them! Themes for building include Construction, Power, Transportation, Space, Travel and more.
Mechanical Engineering
Exploring physics, motion and innovation for 6-10 year olds.
Mechanical Engineering class from LEAP4Kidz™ offers an integrated STEM curriculum, as well as history, language arts, and team decision making to children using LEGO® bricks and motors. This is a hands-on mechanical engineering class where students will build and design with Legos and receive an introduction to levers, gears, pulleys, cranks and more using batteries and motors to bring their creations to life!

LEARN TO CODE WITH SCRATCH™ - Explore how to design and create using MIT’s SCRATCH drag and drop programming. Create projects big and small, individual and in teams while practicing STEM skills in reasoning, math, design, and problem-solving. Students will learn basics of logic and computer science concepts while exploring how they can manipulate and create their own files and creations within a virtual world. Students must know how to turn on/off computer, use a mouse, and save a file prior to class.
Game Design (In-Person)
Introduction to Game Design using Scratch! for 9–15 year olds
LEAP GAME DESIGN - Explore how to design and create your own computer game using MIT’s SCRATCH drag and drop programming. Create projects big and small, individual and in teams while practicing STEM skills in reasoning, math, design, and problem-solving. Students will learn basics of logic and computer science concepts, as well as game theory and different game play concepts. Students will solve multiple game code challenges and create their own game.
Movie Making (In-Person)
Creative project management of stop motion animation 7 – 15 year olds
MOVIE MAKING camp uses stop motion software, computers, and webcams, LEGO bricks, sets, and minifigures to create your own stop motion movie, complete with sound effects and music. In this unique and creative camp, students will work in teams to plan, script, stage, shoot, and produce their own mini-movie using computers, webcams, Stop Motion Animation software and lots and lots of legos!
CAD Design (In-Person)
Introduction to Music Theory for 5 – 12 year olds
LEGO® CAD PROGRAMMING – Build your own creation IRL and Virtually using a Lego CAD (Computer Aided Design) program to create your own building instructions for your own models and creations. Campers will create 3D model of Lego creations in an X/Y vector CAD program, learn to manipulate pieces in a 3D environment, and create step by step instructions of their own building instructions. Class teaches spatial relationships in a 3D environment and allows for strategic thought in planning out their build instructions.
Digital Art (In-Person)
Introduction to Digital Design for 9 – 15 year olds
DIGITAL ART classes and camps offers instruction in multiple creative software platforms to combine graphic design and computer programming. Campers will explore drawing, illustration, layers, animation, 3D sculpting. Create self-portrait, create a Meme, and design your own monster.
STEM Art (In-Person)
Introduction to Art Appreciation and history for 5 – 12 year olds
LEAP proprietary STEM Art classes provide a STEAM emphasis on artistic expression. Kids are introduced to great works of art throughout historical periods while exploring conceptual development, expression, and materials. Each lesson will discuss a historical art project, concept, time period, or individual work, its significance in history, and its creative development and importance. Emphasis on math, perspective, balance and scale.
Music & Math (In-Person)
Introduction to Music with a math emphasis for 5 – 12 year olds
Students will learn the basics of musical theory such as musical note time values, reading notes from the treble clef staff. This fun environment emphasizes learning through teamwork, sequencing, counting and other math skills!
